Alexandra is a very kind caring professional doctor of whom put both myself and my husband at ease straight away. She tells it straight and how it is without messing around. Miss Lawrence is very reassuring and also very clear in her explanations of 1. the care/treatment she recommended 2. the way in which it would be done and the options open to me 3. the things I could do to help myself She is kind in her manner and very respectful of me as a women, particularly as she has to deal with intimate issues. I liked the way she interacted with the other professionals on the team, again in a very constructive way so that you feel she's really looking after all of you, not just the particular part of your body that needs her help.

Alexandra gave me a colposcopy exam after being referred by another consultant. I wasn't expecting to have the exam and was nervous as my previous experience at my GP had been extremely uncomfortable. Alexandra listened to this and put me right at ease. She explained exactly what was going to happen, was comforting and made sure I was absolutely happy with everything. The procedure was hardly uncomfortable at all and I think that was mostly down to how at ease Alexandra had made me feel. I came out of that exam happy and in no pain at all and my mind had been put to rest regarding all the worries I'd had before the exam. I can't thank Alexandra enough and would highly recommend her.

My mum aged 92 was treated by Ms Lawrence . From the very first meeting Ms Lawrence gained our trust. She was very honest, kind and spent lot of time explaining to my quite deaf mum what was needed to treat her cancer and how it would be done. Nothing was too much trouble. Ms Lawrence has tremendously improved my mum's quality of life . My mum was understandably very scared but she completely trusts and likes Ms Lawrence which is very important and made her decision to undergo surgery at her age easy for her. We can not thank her enough for all the care and attention not only to my mum but to all the family A fantastic surgeon who we highy recommend.
